HOW DO I SELL MY PHONE?

Find your phone using the search bar by typing in the model. You can use the actual model number or the name of the phone. Once you find it, select the conditions and submit your order. Once your phone is inspected and processed, you get paid.

DO YOU NEED MY APPLE ID TO BUY MY IPHONE?

No, but please disconnect your Apple device from your Apple ID to get the full amount. This is the same as turning off the FIND MY IPHONE feature.
If you are unable to do this we will have to requote the iPhone at a lower price.

IS THERE A LIMIT AS TO HOW MANY PHONES WE CAN SELL YOU?

No limit. You can sell us as many phones as you would like.

HOW LONG IS MY OFFER GOOD?

Offers are good for 15 days from the time the order is placed to send your device in to us. If you send us your device after that time has passed, your original offer is void and we may re-quote you for a different value.

WHAT IF I OWE A BALANCE ON MY PHONE?

The phone would be considered as having a bad ESN and you would be paid the broken price.

I HAVE A DEVICE THAT IS NOT ON YOUR SITE. DO YOU STILL BUY IT?

If your device is not on our site we cannot offer a cash price. You may include it in your order with the quoted devices and we will recycle it for you.

DO YOU ACCEPT UNLOCKED/JAILBROKEN DEVICES?

Yes, we accept unlocked and jailbroken devices.

DO I NEED TO SEND THE BATTERY?

To get the most money, yes. If it comes without a battery it may be subject to a revised offer price.

MY PHONE IS WATER DAMAGED. DO YOU STILL ACCEPT IT?

Yes, but please choose the condition “Broken” so that we can offer you the correct value for your device.

HOW DO I FIND THE MODEL NUMBER OF MY DEVICE?

Model numbers are usually located underneath the battery or on the back if it’s an iPhone.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I SEND YOU A FAKE OR DUMMY DEVICE?

Please do not send us fake devices. We will recycle them and will not send it back to you.

Give Back Wireless does. We do not charge you for shipping, ever.

WHERE DO I TAKE MY PACKAGE AFTER I RECEIVE IT?

Please take the package to any US Post Office or hand it to your mailman. Do not leave the package in your mailbox.

WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE SENDING IN MY DEVICE?

Take out any SIM cards and remove any passwords. Please try to reset the phone back to factory settings. If you are unable to reset it that’s ok, we erase all data once we receive the phone.

DO I NEED TO INCLUDE THE CHARGER, BOX, and MANUAL, ETC. WHEN I MAIL IT IN?

You do not need to include any accessories. We only need the phone and battery.

DO I REMOVE MY SIM CARD BEFORE SENDING YOU THE DEVICE?

Yes, remove the SIM card since it will not be returned and has sensitive data on it.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE YOUR MAILING KIT?

3-4 days after you place your order.

Receiving and Inspection

HOW SOON WILL YOU RECEIVE MY DEVICE?

3-5 days after you send it in our shipping kit. We are located in San Diego, CA so it is dependent on the speed of the US Postal Service.

I SENT MY PHONE IN - HAVE YOU GUYS RECEIVED IT? WHY WASN’T I NOTIFIED?

We notify you by email from support@givebackwireless.com as soon as we receive and inspect your device. Please check your email and/or spam box for emails from this address.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DON’T AGREE WITH THE CONDITION OF THE DEVICE I SENT YOU?

We will offer you a different price and give you 5 business days to accept or decline. If you decline, we can ship it back to you free of charge.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE MODEL OF THE DEVICE I SENT YOU IS NOT THE SAME AS WHAT I WAS QUOTED FOR?

We will offer you a different price and give you 5 business days to accept or decline. If you decline, we can ship it back to you free of charge.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO INSPECT MY DEVICE?

24-48 hours after we receive it.

DO YOU WIPE ALL MY DATA AFTER I SEND MY PHONE INTO YOU?

Yes, we guarantee 100% data removal once we test your phone. If you need your SIM card, you must remove it before sending it in as we will not send them back – all SIM cards are destroyed.

HOW DO I GET PAID?

You can choose PayPal or a check. Payment is made within 3-5 business days after receiving and processing your device. Please allow an additional 2-5 business days to receive your check via USPS.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY MONEY?

Receiving your money depends on many external factors: how fast the Post Office can deliver your mailing kit, how fast you can send us your devices back to us, how fast we can inspect it, and how fast we can send the money back. Using an internet-based payment like PayPal is much faster whereas a standard check can take up to two weeks to be processed after we inspect your device.

CAN I CHANGE MY PAYMENT METHOD?

Yes, but for a limited time only. Please contact us at support@givebackwireless.com if you would like to change your payment method. Once your order has already been received, processed and inspected, the payment method cannot be changed.

HOW DO I USE PAYPAL?

Give Back Wireless will gladly send your money into your PayPal account. If you don’t have one, go to PayPal.com and sign up completely free. Please understand that Give Back Wireless does not create PayPal accounts for customers or offer any technical support for the usage of its services.

I JUST BOUGHT THIS DEVICE LAST YEAR, WHY IS THE PRICE YOU’RE OFFERING SO LOW?

Different phones have different values after they are introduced into the market. There are other factors such as popularity, original cost, quality, manufacturer/brand, phone service carrier, and more. There is no single, definitive answer to this question, but a combination of the previously mentioned factors heavily affects the offer price for any particular smartphone.
